James (Jay) Clark
Jay has been practicing law for over twenty-five years, focusing on tax, real estate, and wealth preservation and transfer. He is committed to serving the needs of individuals, families, and businesses within the community.
A frequent lecturer on estate planning, Jay has spoken on the topics of family limited partnerships, advanced charitable gifting techniques, estate settlement and estate planning for farmers and business owners.
Jay attended Pennsylvania State University for his bachelor’s and obtained his law degree at University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Jay has served as the Chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Law Section of the Lancaster County Bar Association, President of the Lancaster County Estate Planning Council, Chair of the Agricultural Law Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, President of the International Association for Financial Planning (Central Pennsylvania Chapter), and President of Leave a Legacy of Lancaster County.
Jay has lived in Lancaster County for over twenty-five years with his wife, Jill, and their two sons, Ben and John. He enjoys history, genealogy and traveling.
