Joshua Shoemaker

Josh focuses his practice on real estate, business law, estate planning, and like-kind exchanges and he is interested in expanding into green building and sustainability projects. He is able to focus on meeting the immediate and future needs of his clients by working with them through all stages of their life.

Originally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Josh obtained his bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. He graduated from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in Harrisburg in 2014, where he developed an interest in environmental law. His interest in sustainability and green building led him to pursue and obtain his credential as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Associate.

Josh currently lives in the Elizabethtown area with his wife, Carla, their son, and a rescued teacup Chihuahua, Hanna Banana. He is a member of the Lancaster Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the U.S. Green Building Council, Central PA Community. He is an avid “foodie” who enjoys going to farmers’ markets, local restaurants, and cooking at home.
